IF Tires for Reduced Soil Compaction
IF tires, which stands for "Increased Flexion", can carry 20% more load at the same pressure, or can carry the same load at 20% less pressure. Less pressure will increase your tires' footprint and decrease your soil compaction. J&M offers IF tire options for all single wheel grain carts 1,000 bushels or greater.
1250/50R32 Flotation Tires & Heavy-Duty 20-Bolt Hubs
J&M offers a tire and wheel combination for grain carts designed to handle the gross load of a 1500 bushel grain cart. The heavy-duty 20-bolt hub with 20.125" diameter bolt circle is 190% larger than the industry standard and provides 1.2 million ft-lbs of bolt clamp force per wheel. That is 2.4 million ft-lbs of holding force per cart!
A larger tire for higher capacity harvest equipment is also available. The 1250/50R32 radial tire is 50" wide and 82" tall with a rated carrying capacity of 50,000 lbs per tire, large enough to handle capacities up to 1500 bushels with ease. With 40% more ground footprint compared to the 76×50 biased tire, the 1250/50R32 tire has the most flotation available, giving farmers a new alternative to reduce ground pressure rates.
For 1,000-1,4000 bushel grain carts, the standard 10-bolt hub is available on the 1250/50R32 tires, in addition to the upgradeable heavy duty 20-bolt hub.
