J&M’s X-Tended Reach grain carts feature a straight auger design that provides equivalent side reach and greater forward reach compared to competitor’s bent auger design.
J&M’s in-line auger design is much more efficient and reliable compared to an offset auger design. No U‐joint coupling or cushion arm required. Grain is not redirected, ensuring better transfer of grain and auger cleanout. The in‐line auger design eliminates the need for costly and problematic U-joint and soft-start type connectors, allowing the grain to quickly travel straight from lower to upper auger.

Maximum Upward, Outward and Forward Auger Reach
Since our first patented front-folding corner auger cart was introduced in the late 1980s, we’ve been designing and building innovative grain carts that help farmers maximize their operating efficiency. The X-Tended Reach Series of grain carts continues this trend, having recently been awarded another U.S. patent for its unique auger design. The 12 Series X-Tended Reach design offers the operator 100% visibility during unloading and equally important 100% visibility during the folding sequence. But the rigid upper auger has been X-Tended for even greater outward, upward and forward reach, all while folding diagonally along the front of the cart for compact storage.

Maximum Upward, Outward and Forward Auger Reach AND
Maximum Reach for the Combine Auger
The 22 Series X-Tended Reach grain carts offer the same maximum upward, outward and forward auger reach as the 12 Series, but also includes J&M’s patented Leaner tank design. The low side of the grain cart features a bolt-on tank design that extends toward the combine auger for additional two feet, giving both the combine and grain cart operators more room to navigate in the field without overlap. Your combine auger just gained two feet of side reach, making harvesting easier, especially with wider heads.
with Telescoping Hydraulic Flow Control Spout
The upper auger utilizes a three position upper auger design. The “Storage Position” keeps the upper auger within the footprint of the tires/tracks for narrow storage and transport. The “Field Position” keeps stress off the auger hinge during field operations and keeps the spout out of the mud and dirt. The “Unload Position” extends the auger to give the grain cart operator maximum upward, outward and forward reach during unloads.
The patented hydraulic flow control spout allows the operator to precisely place grain across the trailer. The Side-Shooter design positions the spout perpendicular to the trailer so all four corners can be easily filled!
The telescoping spout features a three part design that extends outward for maximum side reach and retracts when in the downward position to maintain maximum unloading height. Each of the three sections can be easily removed or added to offer multiple combinations of height and reach to fit your particular unloading need.
Added Strength Prevents Twisting or Bending
Competitor grain cart axles feature small tubular steel that is prone to bending or I-beam designs that are prone to twisting, which puts premature stress on the rest of the cart. J&M’s exclusive V-Truss axles are engineered using heavy-duty tubular steel with a reinforced V-Truss design to resist both bending and twisting, protecting the cart from premature wear and tear. Standard on all single wheel carts.
J&M grain carts use only the highest quality, heavy-duty components to keep you on the go, even in the most extreme conditions, year after year.
Computer balanced bullet augers (within 1 oz.) with reinforced flighting at critical wear points and 7/16” Max Edge Flighting with 7” or 10” pitch at intake for maximum unload speed and durability.
All J&M grain carts have built a solid reputation for excellent cleanout... even in high moisture grain. The secret is in the tank design, allowing the grain to enter the sump at different speeds. This creates a boiling effect that prevents bridging in high moisture grains.
J&M now offers a right-side unload auger on select X-Tended Reach grain carts to increase operator visibility and efficiency.
The biggest benefit of a right-side auger is that it makes unloading easier and more comfortable. Tractors are designed with controls and monitors on the right side of the cab. Compared to a traditional left-side auger grain cart, putting the auger on the right side makes it much easier to watch the grain cart unload, use the tractor controls and track monitors at the same time. This reduces the risk for mistakes especially during stressful moments and greatly diminishes the amount of twisting and turning while operating the grain cart.

The tight articulation on a J&M swivel ball hitch eliminates grain cart “slam” which reduces the shock loads on the tractor and grain cart, providing smoother operation for the farmer.
Additional benefits of changing to a J&M swivel ball hitch:
J&M scale systems allow you to accurately track your crops, safely load the semi within legal limits, and quickly document crop sharing and insurance records. A scale system can also help plan future soil preparations, plantings, and fertilizing needs, ensuring you spend only what you need. Used correctly, a scale system can quickly pay for itself.

To honor the patriotism of the American farmer, upgrade to the Patriotic Farmer Edition with an American flag stripe. A portion of the proceeds generated from the American flag decal will be donated to national nonprofit organizations that provide assistance to farm families who have experienced a major injury, illness or disaster, or mobilize veterans to transition them from military service to farming.

During harvest time, the weather is unpredictable. Keep your valuable commodities safe from the weather by adding an 18 oz. roll tarp. The Glide Right roll tarp system features grooved rollers that roll along the edge of the end caps for consistent tracking and reduced misalignment. Front and rear return springs apply even tension to each end of the tarp to reduce binding and prevent uneven rolling compared to designs that only utilize one spring and cable assembly. An optional electric roll tarp allows you to remotely open and close.

An LCD camera kit can give you maximum visibility to safely transport from field to field and efficiently receive grain from the combine or unload in the trailer.
For tractors without a PTO, a hydraulic drive kit will supply the power to operate the grain cart. Depending on your need, J&M offers a 19 or 21 cu. in. motor.
